Saint Michael’s Warriors Dance Company inspires, electrifies, and transforms the world through contemporary Christian dance performance and teaching. Inspired by the fiery nature of Saint Michael the Archangel and his companions, this company rocks dances for people of every age, race and background. Combining the styles of ballet, hip-hop, modern, African, jazz, and rock, Saint Michael’s Warriors has danced for international audiences at a variety of venues: schools, theaters, night clubs, churches, universities, and concert events.

The company invites the Holy Spirit to inspire the best in original choreography, not to superficially Christianize secular creativity. The resulting dance works tackle issues where the crossroads of culture and faith meet: Hip-hop: Gift from God or avoid at all costs? The Church: Old and dying or young and alive? Prayer: Boring or best kept secret? With joy and fearlessness, these dancers step out with a spiritual and artistic authenticity that even the skeptic finds refreshing.
